Limited License Professional Counselor
Peace be with you!
After years of teaching students ranging from middle school to college, I felt the Lord call me to go into counseling to bear witness to His promises of hope and healing. Because I have been blessed with life-long faith and many enriching experiences, I would like to share with you from the abundance of grace and mercy showered on me.
I draw from multiple therapeutic approaches including existential therapy, family systems, CBT, bibliotherapy, and attachment theory. I see individuals, couples and families, from late adolescence and young adulthood to later maturity and elderhood.
Being a parent of a large family and an educator, I draw from my experiences working with children and students helping them find ways to grow and flourish. I also understand how faith can be helpful during challenging times and how it can foster both resilience and mental health. Lastly, I am passionate about sharing my love of the arts (especially literature and music) with others on their healing journeys.
