Lauren Yost, Intern
Masters Clinical Mental Health Counseling Student
My mission is to help clients recognize their inherent strengths and move toward greater healing, wholeness, and flourishing.
I am passionate about holistic health care that honors the inherent dignity of every person. I believe all—regardless of circumstances—have a right to quality care. Counseling is one way I have been called to serve others, supporting their healing and growth toward flourishing, virtue, and the fulfillment of their vocations.
I am currently completing a Master of Science in Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Divine Mercy University. I practice under the supervision of Jeannie Miller-Clarkson, PhD, LPC, LP, and am currently completing training toward EMDR certification.
My experience includes supporting individuals and families as they navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, divorce-related concerns, ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), substance use, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), family and relationship concerns, and other life challenges. I take a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach.
