Sara Boichot, Intern
Master’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling Student
Counseling is personal. It can be a part of the journey many of us take to navigate our lives, make decisions, get our bearings after a serious setback, or simply keep on track.
I want to walk along with you on that journey. (By the way, you pronounce my last name Boo-Shay - just in case you were wondering. But Sara will be fine.)
I discovered my passion for counseling at a young age. I wanted to help people connect with their inner voices and learn how to use them or not use them. Just realize that their voice is theirs.
I grew up in religion, but God is very personal and different for all. My experience may not be yours. That is ok. Love and respect will see us through.
You may be going through some tough times. Let’s talk about that. It sucks to be placed in positions we wish we didn’t have to be in. We wish there were a magical way out. In my personal experience, though, the only way out is through.
I believe you can make it through.
You may be dealing with death, job loss, family separation, financial strain, or some other stress. It’s only natural to feel some way about it. Sometimes we need a little help in how we respond to what we feel. We may need a place to feel the heaviness of it so we don’t affect those we love or even our own life negatively.
I will be that safe space and place for you.
I look forward to you coming in and letting your feet rest from the journey.
